Adding a new deck or patio to your home will work wonders for your home and your lifestyle. If you’re considering home improvement you could also add a hot tub or a pool to your home and add some glamour to a frumpy backyard. Options include above ground pool decks, swimming pool decks, above ground swimming pool decks, and deck hot tubs. Relaxation, physical therapy and family fun are just some of the advantages of having a hot tub or a pool. Remember to use a deck or pool cover. This will help you keep the pool/tub clean when not in use and increases the life of your tub.
While it is a great idea to add a deck or a patio to your home, make sure that you work with the local building department to ensure that your home improvement project is fully authorized and legal. Getting the building plan approved and a building permit issued are the first things you need to get done to have your deck/hot tub/pool project underway. The local building department will look for overall deck size, the height off the ground, and the position of the deck relative to property lines, the size and location of framing. The soil type, the species of wood you’re using and the method of connecting frames used are the other parameters that will be examined by the building department. If they are convinced that your plan meets the code and local bylaws, you will be issued a building permit for a fee.

Hi, Need a wood, floating deck of 20'x30' and a gangway that runs about 12' from dry land.... Also need a 21'x21' deck that will be 8' on dry land and the rest over water (this one is non-floating) We're looking for a nice wood finish that's not very expensive. Please call me to go over details. Thanks !
